The meet for Tuesday, April 16th in Onida has been moved to Monday, April 15th due to forecasted weather. Field Events start at 10:30 am Running at 1:00 pm

Wow, wow, WOW! Look at you go Hoven Elementary! We are already half way to our total goal of $10,000. We currently have a total sales amount of $5,276 and of that amount, the PTA will receive roughly $2,110! Football meeting tomorrow in Gettysburg after Large Group gets back, leaving Hoven at 3:30 for 9th-12th graders taking Football next year. Bring your tickets and money to the meeting and if going to the team camp you will register at the meeting.

🎶 Reminder: The Large Group Open House is TODAY at 12:30 in the gym 🎶

Hello elementary parents! Attached are pictures for the PTA fundraiser that begins TODAY! Through Leading Edge Fundraising, the students in the elementary will be selling products from Smoke Haus Healthy Choice such as hunter sticks, venison sticks, beef jerky, and MORE! All items are $22 each and the PTA will receive 40% of that to put back into the school and towards a big surprise for the students! Why support the PTA? Where do the funds go? Because the PTA funds things like: •Scholastic News Magazines •State Testing Snacks •Muffins for moms/Donuts for dads •Teacher Appreciation Week •Events for the students (Daddy Daughter Dance & Mother Son Nerf Battle) •And more! Your child will be bringing home a poster with information and steps on what they need to do. Each child NEEDS to create an account on the website. The student code is: S5TVHJ Enter your child’s name and other information. Then select their grade and their teacher’s name. Student sales will be ALL ONLINE. They can still sell to you in person, but will need access to their personalized QR code for you to scan. Shipping options include having it shipped directly to you (cost is TBD depending on the size of the order) or you can choose student delivery and the child will be responsible for delivering! Sports Updates: The track meet in Winner this Saturday has been cancelled due to weather. Last change we are now going to Onida Tuesday, April 9th for a HS track meet instead of Ipswich. Field events start at 2:30 and running at 4:00. Hoven HS athletes that are going have been notified and will leave at 12:20 pm.

Location Change: Tuesday, April 9th HS track will be attending the Ipswich track meet not the Groton meet. Ipswich is hosting this year instead. Leave time TBA

The track meet that was supposed to be in Pierre tomorrow Tuesday, April 2nd has been cancelled.

Hoven School District will have a 12:30 dismissal on Wednesday, April 3rd in support of the Collins family and to allow staff & students to attend the funeral.

Winter is back! Please ensure your children are coming to school prepared to be outside in the cold temps & snow for recess - coat, hat, gloves, snow pants, snow boots, etc.

Congratulations to the Hoven FFA horse judging team for a successful day in Huron! 2nd place team - state qualified! Individual placings are as follows: - Abby McGuire: 2nd - Dannika Kaup: 13th - Ethan Johnson: 15th - Lane Stuwe: 39th

Golf for Middle School and High School starts Monday, March 25th! Please make sure to let Jonie Abler know if you are going out if you haven't already, this is for 6th-12th graders.

The seniors left for their class trip after school today! Have a great time and make lots of memories!
